2017年11月3日から８日にかけて、America College of Rheumatology 2017(アメリカリウマチ学会)がサンディエゴで開催され、当科からもIgG4関連疾患に関する演題発表がありました。 様々な国の研修者たちと発表内容について質疑を交わすことができ、また日本の研究班でもご一緒させて頂いている日本の他大学の先生方ともディスカッションすることができ、大変有意義な発表となりました。 また、学会プログラムにおいては、論文発表に先駆けて全身性エリテマトーデスや血管炎の新しい分類基準のお披露目が行われ、大変勉強になりました。 連日の晴天を期待していた中、意外にも曇りの日が多かったのは残念でしたが、京都大学、新潟大学の先生方と楽しく会食などもさせていただき、アメリカでの4日間は大変充実したものでした。
