当教室からスタンフォード大学に留学され、新規ステントと動脈硬化進展の関係を研究しています、坂田憲治先生の論文です。薬剤溶出性ステント使用における糖尿病合併の意義を動脈硬化進展の立場から研究したものです。2012年1月に投稿し、約半年でスピード受理された労作です。坂田先生は現在関連病院の一つであります、金沢循環器病院で活躍中ですが、留学前の決意であります「論文10篇を書くまで帰国しません」を胸に秘めて残9編の執筆に執念を燃やしておられます。
