ESC Congress 2017がスペインのバルセロナで開催され、

当教室から多数の演題発表がありました。

8月26日から30日にかけてバルセロナ（スペイン）で、European Society of Cardiology (ESC) 2017が開　催されました。学会開催の一週間前には、市内目抜き通りのランブラス通りでテロが発生し、学会参加も危険視されました。金沢大学循環器内科のメンバーは、万全の安全対策を行いつつも、世界最高峰の循環器学会の一つで発表することを誇りに、無事出席して参りました。

空港のセキュリティ等も普段通りで特別厳しいものではなく、また市民も敢えていつもと変わらぬ平穏な生活を送ろうとしているように感じました。テロの影響もあり、学会出席者は若干少なかった印象もありますが、それでも多くの研究者が最新の知識と技術を習得すべく参加していました。山岸教授の一般演題座長をはじめ、多くの先生方が演題発表を行いました。
